Balmoral House is one of the most preferred Hotel-alternative accommodation establishment situated in the heart of the historic Downtown St. John's, providing quality and comfort with unique experience to visitors from around the world, since 1994. Balmoral was the
first bed and breakfast establishment officially licensed by the City of St. John's
and the provincial authorities of Newfoundland.
Balmoral is a Victorian townhouse with spacious rooms and spectacular views of the old St. John's, Signal Hill, Cabot Tower and the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. The building was constructed in the late 1800's as a private residence of a British merchant family.

Completely restored to its original condition the structure retains its original features, ornate glass windows, wood trim, plaster moldings, hardwood floors, very high ceilings and an unusual circular wall. Antique furnishings and local art work, enhances the comfortable and elegant ambiance of the house.
