Cancellation & Changes of a Reservation: Click Here for details ...

For most Cancellations or Modification of Reservations:
a notice of at least 72 hours is required; for reservations during
special occasions /
events (i.e., Conference, Music Festival, Regatta) up to 30 days cancellation notice may be required. For record purposes,
a cancellation notice or reservation modification request
must be E-Mailed.
... If a cancellation notice is not provided, or provided less than the required
time stated in the reservation confirmation email, the customer will be charged a "No-show Fee" or a "Late Cancellation Fee" equal to
(one night at the regular/rack room rate), the previously arranged
extended-stay/special rates will be disregarded! In case of multiple rooms reserved, the credit card on file with which the rooms are held will be charged for each room.
We'll do our best to fill the empty room/s after a short notice and if we are
successful, no "cancellation fee" would be charged to the customers credit card.

Changing the length of reservation
Reducing the length of a reservation will result in a change of the nightly room rate.
Minimum length of reservation is two nights.

We automatically apply a discount on a consecutive, multiple nights reservation. The longer the stay, the higher the discount. (One night reservations are usually at a higher rate, unless the room is available only for that night). Our Online Booking System also offers better rates for longer stays.

Up
to 50% Off-Season Discount is available (November 01 - March 31) for our luxurious rooms,
based on more than two nights reservations. (Does not apply to online booking)

- Balmoral House is a 100% Smoke-Free establishment under the "Newfoundland and Labrador Smoke-Free Environment Act" (O.C. 98-122). Smoking anywhere at the premises is prohibited. Violating the "Non-Smoking policy" will result in a fine, a room sanitizing and other charges.

Room rates are based on Single or Double occupancy and varies depending on the length of stay.

Our Online-booking system automatically calculates the applicable discount for extended stay, based on Single or Double occupancy as well.

Rates are agreed upon at the time of making the
reservation (prior to the arrival date) and will be reflected in you e-mail
confirmation of reservation.

Changing the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change.

A charge of $19.00/night applies for each additional occupant.

We require a valid credit card information for the time of
arrival to secure and guarantee your reservation.

We do not charge the credit card in advance.
Card must be physically swiped trough the C.C. electronic equipment when making
the payment in person at our establishment.

Prior to guest arrival we obtain a pre-authorization from the Credit Card Company to ensure C.C. validity.

Please make sure to provide a proper Credit Card
Information. If credit card information is incorrect or would expired before
the departure date of the reservation. We reserve the right to consider your
reservation as non-valid.

Guests are required to settle their accommodation
chargers with our establishment any time before the departure date. Usually the day before the departure date.

Credit Card Payments: C. Card must physically
present to be swiped trough the secure C.C. electronic equipment. (At least one
day before departure date.)

Payments by phone or C. Card not physically
present: If the credit card is not physically swiped trough the C.C.
electronic equipment, the credit card companies consider the transaction non
secure and are charging additional fee that will be reflected on your final
charges.

Balmoral House accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury or loss sustained by guests or any other visitors while in the home, or for any loss or damage caused to any property brought to the premises. No responsibility is accepted for any death, illness, loss or damage to property and/or motor vehicles.
