Cancellation & Changes of Reservation:

For Cancellation or Modification of reservations, a
notice is required at least 72 hours,
or for some special
occasions/events, up to 30 days notice may be required. You
will be notified when making the reservation. For your record,
all cancellations & modifications
must be requested via E-mail.
... If cancellation notice is not provided, or provided less than
the required time, the customer will be charged a "No-show
Fee" or a "Cancellation Fee" (equal to one
night at the regular room rate). In case of multiple
rooms reserved, the credit card on file under which the
rooms are held will be charged for each room.
We'll do our best to fill the empty room/s
after a cancellation, and if we are successful no cancellation fee would be
charged. Otherwise a "Cancellation Fee" (one
night regular room rate) will be applied on your credit card
(previously arranged extended-stay/special rates will be
disregarded). In High-Season (May 30 - Oct. 15)
"Cancellation" and "No-Show" fees are at a rate of two
nights at the regular room rate (special
rates are disregarded). -
Changing the length of
reservation.
Changing the length of a reservation, will result in a
change of the nightly room rate.
Minimum length of reservation is two nights.

Balmoral House is a 100% Smoke-Free establishment under the "Newfoundland and Labrador
Smoke-Free Environment Act" (O.C. 98-122). Smoking anywhere at the
premises is prohibited. Violating the "Non-Smoking policy" will result in a fine,
a room sanitizing
and other charges.

Room rates are based on Single or Double
occupancy and varies depending on the length of stay.

Our Online-booking system automatically
calculates the applicable discount for extended stay, based on Single
or Double occupancy as well.

Rates are agreed upon before or at the time of
making the reservation (prior to the arrival date) and
will be reflected in you e-mail confirmation of reservation. E-mail address must
be provided to be able to receive a written confirmation of your
reservation.

Changing the length or dates of your reservation
may result in a rate change.

A charge of $19.00/night applies for each
additional
occupant.

We require a valid credit card
information to secure
and guarantee your reservation.

We do not charge the credit card in advance. Prior to
guest arrival we obtain a pre-authorization
from the Credit Card Company to ensure C.C. validity.

Guests are required to settle their accommodation
charges with our establishment the day before the departure date.

Credit Card Payments: The credit card on file
provided to secure the reservation, will be used to settle the bill
payment unless otherwise requested in advance (usually at the time making
the reservation).

If payment is to be made personally by the guest
credit card, it must be swiped trough the C.C. processing electronic
equipment the day before departure.

Balmoral House accepts no liability whatsoever for any
injury or loss sustained by guests or any other visitors while in the home, or for any loss or damage caused to any property brought to the
premises. No responsibility is accepted for any death, illness, loss or damage
to property and/or motor vehicles.
